Cholera outbreak hits Borno state -UN

The United Nations says cholera is spreading rapidly through IDP camps sheltering people displaced by Boko Haram in north-eastern Nigeria.
According to the UN, more than 530 suspected cases had been registered in camps in Borno state, three times the number reported five days earlier and more than 20 people have died.
Last month the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund, which is managed by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, allocated $10.5m (£8m) for life-saving assistance to the most vulnerable. Nearly two million people have been displaced by the conflict between Boko Haram militants and government forces
