A tragic incident struck on the 25th of April, 2020 as three sisters between the ages of 14 and 20 drowned in a river at Amaeze village in Ishiagu community of Ebonyi State.
The three sisters who attended Comprehensive secondary school in Ishiagu, were found floating on the water, however what led to their deaths is yet to be known. The siblings have reportedly been buried beside the stream without caskets, as culture and tradition demand.
