Osun State, Nigeria Has Arrested 17 Chinese Citizens And 10 Locals For Illegal Gold Mining.

Amotekun Osun state chapter caught 17 Chinese men in the middle of the forest. They were robbing the state by illegally mining its natural resource.

The illegal mining of gold at Ilesha has been going on for ages. Much of the land there has been eaten up by excavators, and locals even sell their lands to these gold miners. This was discovered on a research project focusing on cocoa farming in Osun State.
